A doubled die enlarges the size of the devices with a spread between two different hubbings on the older dies, and on the single squeeze dies, the devices are enlarged more in the center of the design. IE: Multi hub doubling: Single squeeze doubling: Hope you can not see the difference between die wear/DDD-Deterioration and a doubled die? The doubled die has the doubling on the die from the very first strike till the last strike. (die wear can affect the devices on some types of doubled dies) Report this Post to the Staff
