No, it's not worth getting it graded, since it has to be rotated at least 90 degrees, in order to be collectable and to have a premium over face value.

Your pics are oriented such that I can't see the rotation but that is a pretty neat find. Certainly worth saving in a 2x2.

Ok I didn't know they had to be 90 degrees, I'll just keep it for my personal collection. Thank you for the replies

OK guys, you got me again.
What does "rotated" refer to? It looks like a regular quarter to me.

When you flip it over, it doesn't line up correctly

The lighting was bad today and I had to take pics from different angles to get the glare off it and I don't know how else to show it unless you can upload a short video on here? But if I'm looking at the obverse side straight up and flip it over exactly 180 degrees, the reverse side is cocked about 30 degrees counter-clockwise

Quote: how else to show it You could take your pics on a sheet of lined (or if you have it graph paper). Orient the obv straight up and down for its picture and then flip the coin over without straightening it. Then, take your pic of the rev.

Best way is to put it in a holder with the obverse side rotated horizontal and then place in in front of a mirror. Then we can see both sides of the coin. If it is normal, the reflection should be upside down: Normal: If the coin is not upside down then it is a rotated coin. Over 45 Degrees is better.

I need to make a little better setup for this lol. It's tough to get the lighting right also but I think this is good enough to show you guys the rotation. Was my guess of 30 degrees fairly accurate

I'd say 30° is about right, very interesting.

Last question; if this particular coin was rotated at least 90 degrees to make it "collectible", would it be worth grading given the condition?

OK, I got it! AND, it is what I thought "rotated" meant - I just could not see how the original photos were showing anything.
Thanks, everyone.
