Is this not a rainbow toned 1954 D Wheat penny? It's def not made from copper or bronze.

Bigmoney, kind of hard to see the coin in the images because they're a little fuzzy.

Can you start a new thread and include clearer images. Would love to see what you have.

What is the weight of your 1954 cent coin?
Is-This-Not-A-Rainbow-Toned-1954-D-Wheat-Penny?
I feel it is a plated coin and probably weights in the 3.12-3 grams range. A steel cent is 2.7 grams. And jumps onto a magnet.

If it looks like this in hand and it is 3.1 grams give or take a small amount it is plated. to CCF.
