Hi. I took pictures both indoors and also out in the sunlight. I have next to no experience with grading SLQ's, but my guesstimate is that this coin would be AU and could make a full head designation. The way I'm taking pictures really doesn't show how things really look, but this is the best I've got. Could you guys tell me what you think it would grade, and if it's good enough to have slabbed, or not. Thank you in advance!

Very nice quarter but I have a question. Do coins in less than uncirculated get designated as "Full Head", "Full Bell Lines", Full Split Bands" or "Full Steps" etc. ?
No doubt this may have been a FH quarter when minted but, I have always thought that these special grade designations only applied to MS60 and up grades.
Your quarter appears to me to be high AU but it could be the images and it could be my grading skills too.

However, the CDN greysheet price app only lists Full Head prices from MS-60 and above, so, perhaps you can get the designation, but maybe there aren't price references for the AU coins

Thanks guys. I saw a post that said a coin should be worth at least $150 retail for it to be worth getting graded. It seems like it would be reasonable to grade this coin. And is it a full head? It's sitting in my 7070 but I was just curious if it should be in a slab instead.
Rest in Peace

Yikes. Your opinion has come in lower than everyone else's on the SVDB and on this one. Are you a conservative grader T-Bop? Maybe my pictures just suck. To quote someone else's idea from a post in 2006, this thing looks like it could be a Full Nipple! LOL

Well I can appreciate that. Thank you for your honest opinion. Thanks GrapeCollects and Coinfrog. So what do you think. Do I send this one in, or keep it in the 7070? It's kind of a toss up for me.

I think the obverse is au50 or 53 but the reverse has surface issues and is pitted.
Au details surface issues.

i wouldn't send it in.

I might send it in just to see because I think my pictures are bad. For example, the line on her head is very defined in person, but it hardly looks defined in these pictures. But I also think she's happy and serving her purpose in the 7070. So I really don't know what to do LOL.
