Particularly interested in the motto. Some letters spear to have splits on them. Trying to figures out if the reverse side is all dd or possibly other type of doubling?
Thank you for your input

I am having a bit of trouble going by these pics, but looks like MD or DDD. There are many types of doubling, some have a premium and some not. Here is a link that I have in my bookmarks http://koinpro.tripod.com/Articles/...Doubling.htm

Other than seeing Die Deterioration, I am not seeing anything else.

Thanks guys for your input. I do see MD on EPU. What I am curious about is hard lines on letter N, S, S and O in USoA. I'm gonna try to take better pictures of what I'm talking about.

Cheers

Dimes are pretty much duds for doubled die after 1972:
DDO: One listing after that date:

DDR:
http://www.varietyvista.com/07%20Ro...Listings.htm
Three listings after 1972
I don't waste my time on them.

Thanks Coop!
John I believe I found my answer in your link, it appears to be ejection doubling (lines in the middle of letters)
Thanks again guys!

Cheers
