I have little confidence in the original assessment.

the first:
6.31 grams, 15 mm across:

I am not sure of the orientation

A-Pair-Of-Purportedly-Medieval-Indian-Square-Coins
A-Pair-Of-Purportedly-Medieval-Indian-Square-Coins

The second: 6.69 grams, widith 13-14 mm.

Again, I am not sure of the orientation.

I will take a closer look. There is a lot of encrustation on one side.
That website is good. I had forgotten how good it is.
