So here goes the best example I've found as for a possible unplated zinc cent..i hear they should be shiny I hear they should be dull..details sharp..but what if you pulled it from circulation and its worn..its a hard one...i feel that if its shines alot it is most likely plated..and I feel if its dull it was most likely stripped somehow..very conflicting.. but what if theres roller lines on the reverse in an unplated area...should acid remove these lines? Whats your thoughts...

PMD..just toned due to some unknown enviromental damage..as to the reverse, coin was most likely laying on some type of fabric/surface to give it that look..May I say, you are really thinking in-depth of this cent... But please just spend it..

A member not too long ago posted a photo, (NGC I think) of a coin like that was a plating issue. I have saved a few I have found CRHing. I wish whoever posted that pic posts it again so I can bookmark it this time.
