Quote: I have a 1969 half dollar that weighs 90-1 percent silver
This statement doesn't really make sense. How much does your coin weigh, in grams? BTW- It's best to start your own thread as well so it gets attention by folks as a new coin. Thanks
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups. We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
But they only made 40% silver halves from 1965-1970-D. So it is impossible to have a coin minted with something that was not even at the mint since 1964. The edges of the 1965-1970-D Halves had an edge that didn't show the copper layer.
