I purchased my first ever Half Dime last week for $25. I didn't need it, but it was calling my name.  I'm not as familiar with the series, so I'd appreciate your thoughts on its grade.   (I'm also experimenting with my iphoneography and new Jansjo lights, so these images are a little small.)

Looks like you have the medium date as the digits do not protrude into the base of liberty. It looks like it grades vf20 but the coin looks like it has light porosity which is slightly more pronounced in the obverse.

VF-25. Eye Appeal 5/10. Nice example for your first. Be careful, those little silvers can become addicting

Thank you everyone for your grades!  I was also thinking this was in the VF range, so I couldn't pass it up for the price. Quote:Be careful, those little silvers can become addicting  It is very tempting...  But it would be a fun challenge!

I'm in the ballpark at VF30...I still see separation in the dress folds and the leaves are still separated.
