This line on top is not crud..it zinc or maybe blistering..i have my doubts on it being struck through plastic because I'm pretty sure its bullion with plastic..and shouldnt it b shiny in affected area?

I looks to be slightly very slightly raised to the point of not being able to tell for sure..above liberty is raise..or split kinda..nothing peeling off I did clean it with water and wiped it down carefully..it feel to me like it might b tape toned..tape on there so long it blistered or split above liberty..looks like maybe zinc showing

@martin, consider giving this cent an acetone bath to see if that dark line is just adhesive gunk that can be removed.

Is the coin bent? If so then it is damaged.
