I was looking at some of my coins last night when something on this 1918-S Standing Liberty quarter, a coin I have owned for years, caught my attention.

There were letters showing on the gown by Liberty's right leg. A bit of online research took me to a website that discussed a clashed with with the M in AMERICA and the E in from E PLVRIBVS VNUM from the reverse.
