I got this coin yesterday at my local bank and it stood right out as soon as I seen it amongst the others. (A 1953 Frankiln silver half was in the mix as well). I did a lot of research on it before I put it on here for your opinions because I saw there was a lot of talk about a Magicians coin. But there are no splits in the coin for the pop open in a coin jump out at you or anything like that. And it shows the images of a foreign coin which I see a lot on other coins and I even have a few myself. Here are some images....

It is due to environmental damage, water/moisture.

Just looks like it was painted with something and it is starting to wear off the high points of the coin. I see nothing to indicate it was struck on a foreign coin. The odds of that happening at all are extremely small, so if you actually have several, you better sell them now because you will be rich. The majority of "images of a foreign coin" are caused by the brains tendency to see things that are not really there ( Pareidolia).

If it "jumped" out at you for the color, I'm afraid that I agree with the environmental damage proponents. Was there something else that made you notice this coin?

The funny thing about collecting coins is freeing your mind and opening it to imagination and possibilities that things do happen whether it be one in a million or not some people are just set to the fact that they don't believe in some things happening and everybody else hops on that ride with them and shoots everything down immediately. I don't live in Fantasyland but I have the imagination of possibilities happening just like this coin I presented to everybody that I matched up with a foreign coin like I have done many others of mine that are awaiting return from certification or being sent out am I seeing this image as well is it whatever that word that you call it or are you seeing this too? I am not trying to make waves or be rude or anything like that but it is what it is when you see things and I will not let others make me feel that I am losing my mind and seeing unicorns instead of everybody saying things are zinc rot and PMD maybe open your mind that there is something there

Well the images help me to show to people who find enviromental damaged coins that the red color does wear off and the silver comes shining through:

This coin has a distinct and different ring to it separating the sound from silver and clad. Here is a picture of the edge at an angle. What color are you seeing that layer because I was told that I am seeing paranormal or parody and more some definition for seeing things.....
