Gustav Vasa cleaned out my bank account!

Gustav-Vasa-Of-SwedenWho, me?

Well actually it was a conspiracy. Gustav Vasa, King of Sweden teamed up with my son's college and the painters who just finished the house to wipe out my reserves.

I will tell my wife that I won this 1545 Svartsjödaler on tradera.com through no fault of my own. How could I know that no one would snipe me?

It does have a little scratch at Vasa's elbow.
That doesn't seem to bother me though.

Hey, at least there was a little something left for you.

That coin is outstanding. Is it funny that the profile on the coin is much more flattering than the painting.

I wanted more chances to buy Swedish coins so I just dove in to http://www.tradera.com one day. The first time I won a coin I had to correspond in Swedish which was hard but I managed to get the deal done. The dealer I won this coin from sent me emails in English, and accepts paypal, so it has been simple.

I use http://www.google.com/language_tools to translate text if I get confused.

BTW, it is better to use a credit card than a checking account when paying by paypal in foreign currencies. You can get a better conversion rate from your credit card than paypal gives you.
