I have a number of 82 Lincoln cents in copper/zinc/small/large date variations. This one has a reverse that looks odd to me because the separation has lines on some of the lettering but seems more rounded off instead of flat like Machine Doubling. It's hard to get good pictures with the lighting and luster of the coin but there is separation lines on the spread. Any input on wether this is a certain variety/ error is always appreciated.

The ED of United sure looks good but it is in conflict with everything else, which looks like MD or zinc rot/splitting... I'll study the pictures some more. Pictures are tough sometimes, lighting can play tricks. I look forward to what others have to say as well.

Slight off-center strike is all I see.

I agree with the rest. That misaligned die on the obverse is almost enough to be something!

I was so focused on the title of the thread ( DDR) that the obverse picture didn't even register in my mind. Glad you pointed it out Grape.

I'm going with the Machine Doubling group...underlying image looks flattened. It Is a small date.

The images are deceiving because we are looking to close. The images should be of:
United, States of, America, One, Cent and the EPU in one image about 1200 Pixels wide. It is not DDR-001, but Wonder if it is DDR-002. On Variety Vista the doubling seem strongest on the 'CENT' and the tops'PliRiBuS (letters in caps)' on Pluribus. On the STATES of AMERICA on V.V. I'm not seeing much DDR, but more MD on the devices. So on your images the 1. ONE, 2. Cent, EPU area. That would help.

Thanks Coop I'll try to get some better pictures up that are further out. I got caught up trying to show the lines in between the separation. It's so hard to get the lighting correct at least for me to offset the luster shine. Thank you all again for the help. I'll have more pictures up ASAP.

It's still hard to get the images to capture what's in hand but these are decent.
