Hello martino

It looks to me like a Scottish clan badge. Likely belonging to a member of Clan Tait/Tate since there are no reins visible in the design. But, it could also be from a member of either Clan Hepburn or Dunbar.

It's too small to be a broach. And could have been attached to a hat or something similar.

Also, your English is far better than my Swedish!

A very interesting piece @martino and thanks for posting. Is the other side the same design as this one?

Hey , no the back is plain so I think it must have been mounted on a hat or something?
Like Standfast wrote it looks to be some clan badge from Scottland but I cant find same badge anywhere,
And what is it doin in southern Sweden... ?
Is it old? Most clan badges have some words in the belt but here its just a pattern.
Thank you for your interest :-)

"Vintage very old brass tartan shoulder brooch Irish clan of O'Grady (lead fill)".
