20.5mm, 3.28g, Flip says: Valerian II of Ephesus Ionia, and I simply can't find the online reference. But the pedigree back to 1986 seems well researched and I have no reason to doubt the old collector. Certainly would be interested in what the large "A" countermark was stamped on it for.
It is odd that the feet of the letter A in the countermark are angled rather than horizontal like the other letter As in the inscription. Otherwise, it has a similar shape. I hope that someone can shed some light on this.
