I have a few half dollar coins, oldest is 1972. Any value to these coins? All pretty good shape.

BU's can be worth up to $1 each. High end Gems can be worth up to several thousand but most are only a few hundred.

There are several varieties but they can be pretty tough other than something like the '74-D DDO (~$20 in AU).

What's the best and easiest way to make jpeg images small enough to be uploaded? I'm getting down to like 1 meg.
