Is this penny collectable or worthless? Best picture I could take resized, messed up and cleaned grime with sponge and scdatched, how should clean old pennies?

It shows a bit of offset that's creating the extra line on the rim. That's nothing special, fortunately, given the harsh treatment. As far as cleaning, don't! If you have "inclinations," post the coin first and we can give thoughts and/or methods of conservation to try that won't hurt the coin's value.

Thanks for the info! Will keep this as first lesson learned as I collect! Saving all change I find in seperate bottles, will post when I have question, you guys are helpful thanks!
