Seller was saying it has gold toning and provided these poor photos. When I got this, appeared that it is not toning, and it is not gold color. More like bronze. Gray area on motto looks like paint - but it is not paint. Acetone for almost a 24 hours, toothpiks - no way. It is very solid. What do you think happened here? I think it was failed galvanic experiment. Attempt to make this coin look like gold. Coin edge has a lot of damage, it looks like it was made using steel rasp.
