Kushanshah Pillar of the Community United States 1554 Posts	Posted 07/15/2019 1:54 pm If you rotate the coin 180 degrees AIPIA becomes Arabic la ilah illa "there is no god but", the first line of the Kalima. The following two lines of the Kalima read Allah wahdahu / la sherikh lahu "God alone / there are no others with Him". Most likely an 'Abbassid AE fals minted at al-Kufa in Iraq. Kushanshah Pillar of the Community United States 1554 Posts	Posted 07/16/2019 03:24 am Just to flesh out the description, the reverse is Muhammad / rassul / Allah / baraka ("Muhammad is the apostle of God, praise"). The blob in the margin at 7h on the reverse is probably the mint name bi'l-Kufa. Coincidentally, the coins of al-Kufa often have the word baraka in the lower reverse. The bad news is that the 'Abbasid coppers of al-Kufa are the most common of all early Islamic coppers and have little monetary value, even in better grades.
