Hi everyone! I need some help in identifying the variety of this 1864 Indian Head cent. It has a Cud on the obverse between the 10 to 11 o'clock position and another between the 1 to 2 o'clock position. I haven't been able to find anything on it as of yet. Thank you in advance for any assistance!

It has some serious die wear going on and I think the second Cud mentioned is a rim Cud running from 12:00 all the way around to 4:00

Does not seem to match any of the major varieties for this date/type.

You are right, that second Cud does start at about the 12 position. Quote:westcoin > minor rim Cud, still an interesting die and very late state to boot! Yay! It's always nice to see your 'discovery' featured on a website.

Nice job, always cool to have a new variety, and one of such a late die state too. You are off to a great start.
