LCS has about 20 of these, unmarked, in little white square boxes with glass windows. They asked me to find out what they are. I couldn't find them in the 17th or 18th century Krause.
Scrape test showed silver, and LCS has a Gold and Silver Purity Testing Scanner which showed above sterling and 90 percent (I didn't realize 16th century Spanish silver was .931).
20 seems a high number to be lurking unidentified. Just to be sure, I would have an expert examine them in in hand. Value in this condition would be considerably less than the CNG coin but still a cool memento of early colonial America!
I expect they will authenticate them. I think they may have been an unidentified part of a collection bought a few years ago.

I will add that I have never seen coins stored in a container like this before. The cointainers seem designed for arrowheads or other items that are not as uniform in width as coins. The boxes are 1 3/8"x 1 3/8" x 3/4" (deep).
