Heres a few pics of the Benji. Areas on the rev; "HALF", "DOLLAR", "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA". A few letters on the obv as well. I'm new to this and I'm studying but this coin has me confused... What do the pros think?

Correct. Because of the coin being silver, the metal movement of Machine Doubling pushed the metal like a snow plow, moved it a bit and that is what you are seeing. A great 70 year old coin. The weakness on the eagle looks like it had an issue with a partial fill on that area of the die, preventing the feathers to show stronger. Great coin for an album. It is as old a me. It has been around for a short time in circulation, but a keeper.
