Also; is this type of Dinar-made-into-a-pendant typical for the 19th century? It does seem to have been pretty common practice to turn these into jewelry. I have a similarly-looped 8 Kharub from Tunisia dated AH 1239 (~1824 AD). By the way, both of your pics need to be rotated 90 degrees, the first one clockwise and the second one counterclockwise. To me, it looks like your coin could be dated AH 1292, but we should wait for someone to confirm as the third and fourth digits are petty worn.
