I did one a few month/years back. Just finished another one: A few a while ago: That is me before there were color images. Just trying to make something interesting for my art work.

Thanks for the post! You made me smile, but please tell me this is Photoshop art and not markers on the surface of the coins/photos.

You might think about taking restoration orders on side. Thanks, Doug.

These are Photoshop. I've been using it since 1996, and still learning. I dabble in art, but mostly in photoshop. I edit a lot of images, probably over 100K at this point. I make 3-D images called stereograms, background images for my computer screen, avatars, educational images, videos, and still improving as I go. I never think I've done it all. I've edited different themes. The wild life coins I'm enjoying most. I enjoy cars, editing images to make things possible, that I'd really like to see. I guess I like to add things into images, take older black and white images and add color to images to enhance an image. Original Color added.

On the latest image I learned something new to improve color editing. You know how you can add color, but just can't get the exact colors? I discovered using the contrast, light and darkness adjusting will help improve what I've been missing for years. So always improving, makes things better going forward.

The same version 5.5. It still works on home edition windows 7. Not on the professional windows 7. Just enjoy using what works great for me. They just recently stopped updates from windows 7, so I might have to upgrade to a newer version. Just holding off as long as possible. I'm still creating up to 25 new images per day. (Not all are on my image host) But new ideas are thought up all the time.

I thought about getting Adobe Photoshop recently... but it seems that their is a monthly fee. Is there a monthly fee for the older versions?

lovely work! I am particularly impressed with the elk coin. But have to wonder what happened to the common loon, as while the head can have a light green shine to it in the sun (mostly just the lower throat band) there are a couple problems. Loon beaks are black, eyes are red, and the male has distinctive throat banding and a black and white pattern on the back. Been a birder all my life and so some things just jump out at me. And the design actually does show the black and white striped throat band (with even the tiny blotch of black and white striping under the chin) and the checkerboard pattern on the back so those things are on the coin.

Here all this time I'm thinking Malard duck. Never seen or noticed a loon. But that's what it is. As Tammy Chong said:' Oh, I can fix that.' (70's show, Erick's drunken tattoo.)
