1956 Penny With Repunched Mint Mark / RPM Obverse And Reverse

Timmy58 New Member United States 9 Posts	Posted 07/21/2019 12:26 pm I found this interesting 1956 penny evidence evidence of the RPM are on the obverse and reverse of the coin. It looks to be an inverted "D" to the south and a rotated "D" to the north just below the date. Thoughts? Report this Post to the Staff

Additionally, I see that your coin has a die chip between the B and E in LIBERTY. These so-called BIEs are quite common on cents from the 1950s, but still fun to look at as legit mint errors. I'd probably save it in a 2x2 for the novelty of those counter-punches.
