1957-D Lincoln Wheat Cent / LWC Die Break On Head, Date, And What Looks Like A Wing On The MM?

Valhallabound Valued Member United States 108 Posts	Posted 07/22/2019 11:13 pm I'm trying to learn from you all so I appreciate you In advance. is this a die break on the head, a die chip on the date, and I'm lost on the wing coming off the Mint Mark. I know E&V said the 50's are notorious for overusing the dies so is this common? Report this Post to the Staff

The die chips and cracks are very common on the Wheat cent series. Like E&V said, the dies were overused greatly.
