I agree, just a common proof nickel, not SMS.

Owen9177, you previously posted that you sent all of your 1964 set and a 1943 copper cent to PCGS, what did they come back as?

New images of the Proof nickels

Note the finish on the SMS are not shiny, more of a matte finish, also having the freshest die states. (no die wear)
Business strikes compared with the SMS nickels:

Note the fresh die states on these. The Business strike coins are high grade coins, but not the SMS have a stronger design as they were double struck.

Just looking to Monticello and the head (hears) I can see if it is BS, PR or SMS.

Note on the last image, that difference between a single strike and a double struck coin. (Business strike coins are only struck once)
1. Note the strength of devices on the business strike coins?
2. Then note the proof and the SMS strike coins? They are stronger. So the SMS coins were double struck. They just don't have the mirrored surfaces that the proof coins have. More of a matte finish.

I try to keep it as simple as possible. Seeing, is better than reading pages of information.
