Hey John, I just got an 1876-CC Twenty Cent Piece. Looks pretty nice as a pendant. It's amazing what a little solder will do!

Some guy just pulled up in front of a coin store in a thing he called a Dalorian or something like that. No horses and all Silvery looking.

That thing spooked my horses. And what the heck is "Plutonium"? Can you get that at the druggist? Sounds like last year's cure-all.

What's all this talk about fearing the new currency? Our government would never issue currency that was not fully backed by Gold and silver in reserve!Mike........p.s. This thread is a blast!!

Anyone notice the Mint stopped making Silver Dollars a few years ago.
Yeah, I sure have missed looking for new ones the last few years. Does anyone think they will be minted again? Maybe with a new design?

What do you mean, Eaglefoot? Teddy and the Republicans assure us that good times are here forever!

I just hope they do not take away our one cent coin like they did the Half Cent! My Grandpa says it caused people to go broke from all the prices being rounded up!

(sorry, I just had to go there!)

Well......it turns out that "The Buck actually DOESN'T stop there"......it stops in Congress !.......and then there's this upstart named William H. Taft who's a BIG FAT man that's gonna be running for President.......and he's known for his "pacifism" instead of "action". I don't know man.......I think we're in for troubled times !!

Well we finally got the house we ordered from Sears and Roebucks catalog
finished. It was tough scraping together the $1500.00 it cost but with the land Daddy gave us it should hold up for a few years. Here's a picture;

back in 1903
At a local bar some guys had a little to much to drink and started a contest. So the guy asked if anyone had dollar coins. A guy spoke up I have one its an 1804. So the guy looks at it and says can you shoot the BE in liberty on the 1804 dollar! He missed the coin completely It was funny... You know I hadn't seen a coin like that since that night..I wonder where that coin is today? [um] Then another guy next to me pulled out a modern Morgan! He was asked to put a hole in between IB in pluribus.. So he shot at it an hit it..
Everyone marveled. For he had shot the mintmark off the coin .I asked the guy beside me where the coin come from as I could see it was an 1893. He said he got it from a bank he robed in San Fransisco some 10 years ago.. I Laughed and went to the bathroom and decided not to sit back next to him thinking I might get robbed.. I guess them guys would not have shot them coins if they would have know they were not going to mint anymore. By the way the guy won three rounds at the bar. Now its 1908 and I miss them says
