What's the negative for? For Canadian .800 coins, every face dollar is .6 troy ounces of silver. A quarter is 25% of that, so that's .15 troy ounces, if it's new and not worn, so it's over $60 an ounce that you'd be paying.
I've seen on TV, where silver could jump to 100 and even 200 dollars an ounce...so somebody better get this one quick...it's a bargain at that price....
