I found this forum while trying to find opinions on grades of coins(cccs PCGS etc). Mainly I focus on collecting Newfoundland coins...maybe its not exactly collecting because I have a hard time holding on to them. I am a student so money is tight from time to time so once things get rough my collection shrinks and changes. At one point I was going to collect Canadian stuff (world stuff too) but I think its best to focus on one collection for now. So Newfoundland coins it is- at least while I am in here in Newfoundland:). Like I said I'm a student and relatively young (28 I feel old af) and have 1.5 friends to share my passion of coins with so usually the only person I get to show my cool finds or creations ( I make coins rings ) is to my local coin dealer. If you know newfoundland coins or just like them and want to open a line of communication with me about them i'd be cool with that very much so actually. I'm not here to buy or sell but just to post some pictures of some of the coins I have deemed to be nice and to see what others think. Also just to shoot the crap about coins and learn. I want to have the critical eye some of you obviously have. Only way that will happen is by seeing what's out there so I feel like I found the right place for this :)
I don't know if its normal to write such an introduction I feel like I'm on a dating site of sorts lol I am genuinely excited to meet/ talk to some people who share my new found interest.
Thanks for reading
Stephen
