1998-P LMC - I Am Not Sure What I Have, I Do Not Think It Is A Cud

only two photos attached. when I first saw it there was black "gunk" across the raised portion. the debris was not on the lower portion level with the surface. a brief soak in acetone removed the gunk successfully. the raised portion extends from the "OD" in GOD to just above the "R" in TRUST. from there to the end of TRUST - the brighter area is flush with the surface of the coin.i do not thik this is a Cud - because all of the letters and the hairline are visible above the raised metal area.

i really do not know what I have here. opinions are greatly appreciated.

i thought that also - but acetone does not affect the raised portion...

Looks like the dark part is stain, the normal color area looks like glue on it?

The black Gunk protected the gold area, the rest appears to be lost due to maybe soaking in Vinegar and salt.
