I bought two coins for £100 each on ebay as they were sold out on Royal Mint in one day, the original price with Royal Mint was £65.
Today I checked the price on ebay and it is selling for £40 and I dont understand how and why?

I don't have intention to sell at this time but still, how can be value even lower then RM price, I am worry in case I have to sell these then I will be in great loss.

Hello Jilbri and

Are the Gruffalo 50p coins that you've seen advertised at various prices all made to the same specifications? It's been offered as a silver proof and as a cupro-nickel BU coin.

There was also some kind of distribution deal with Change Checker and the Westminster Collection, who were offering the BU version cheaper than The Royal Mint.

This is such a recent coin that I don't expect it's settled down to a realistic after-market selling price yet. Most of them will still be in the hands of their original purchasers, and ebay auction figures will be all over the place.
