I believe the technical grade is Yowza!

Someone please point out the flaws on this.

@Coinfrog, the only obvious flaw I can see is that it isn't in my collection.

You guys are going to hate me for an AU58 grade. Toning hides the wear on liberty's knee and the eagle's talon.

can't see what holds it back from MS66 unless they don't want to expand the population

I found the coin lol, but I still stick by my earlier grade even though I disagree with PCGS. The difference is likely seeing the coin in hand.

That might well have something to do with it. This piece is a top pop by a wide margin at MS64.

Luster very likely played a role in the grade. Grade doesn't really matter anyways being the top pop by a wide margin and keeping it mid MS leaves room if a better one appears

A 64 grade just staggers me. Coin appears virtually flawless.

Pardon me, but isn't the grade the grade? If not, then every coin in a slab is undergraded, in case a better one appears.

Your statement just gives ammunition to those who say TPG is just a scam and a good old boy network.

PCGS graded this coin MS64 and is top-pop. I think the ones that graded this MS64 cheated. for the life of me I cant see what the flaws are and no one responded that graded it at this level as to why. the only thing I can see is a couple light hairlines under the TRUST in the banner and that's it. maybe its the photos. the only other thing it can be is as basebal21 stated and the luster is not fully present. you don't grade a coin based on the possibility that there may be a better one out there to take top spot but then again never believe every grade on a slab. I have it at MS65 and possibly 66 unless someone can point out the flaws
