This is an 1801 Draped Bust Large Cent for your grade opinions.

The variety is S-216, a common (R-1) variety for the date. S-216 can be spotted by the fact that it has the closest-spaced denominator (100) of any of the non-error 1801 fractions.

This was another of my insomniac late-night/early-morning ebay pickups. I think it's probably been cleaned at some point, but it has pretty decent detail and the price was right, so I grabbed it.

G4 agree with old cleaning. a soak in verdicare is in order if you have any. if you collect old coppers and don't have it I suggest purchasing some.
