Second, that coin looks like it was stuck off center by quite a bit, with a partial date and mintmark still visible. That is definitely worth saving. We see similar coins posted from time to time on CCF. coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 08/04/2019 7:09 pm So where did these come from? Before 2001 they put the coins into mint bags and they would be found there. After 2001, they put them into pallet bins and sent them out of the mint to wrapping locations. When they find coins like this, they are supposed to be sent back to the mint.
