It's clear that based on the symbols that this comes from somewhere in Asia.

The question is, where, and how old is it?

@SC, your first pic is upside down, but that looks like a cast cash from the Qing Dynasty in China issued by Emperor Mu Zong (1862 to 1874).

Sorry but I don't know the answer to that. Hartill does list estimated prices, but I'm not sure enough of the subtype to be able to speculate much--perhaps $15 if it was in better condition and less than half that now? Hopefully others who know more can weigh in.
