I cherrypicked this just recently and it just got it. I bought this from an ebay like site last week as a 1909-S, I didn't even see the VDB and it wasn't mentioned by the seller either. I got it for $50 as a corroded 1909-S and when it came in and I went to photo it for my digital album I thought I saw three special letters. I threw it under the loupe and Wham! This is the craziest thing that's happened yet. I'm considering selling it to finance some type coins I've been looking into, but I kinda want to keep it as a hole filler. Do coins like this with this much corrosion or damage still bring a good premium for errors ? Have you ever checked out TopHatter? It's like ebay but 90 sec auctions.
