I inherited coins when I was a kid because I used to collect wheat Pennies. The family thought it would be fitting to give me the coins. Haven't looked at them in 20 years. Found some of them in my old cigar box when I was digging through stuff.
The coin is dirty but I don't dare do anything since I know nothing. Wondering roughly what this coin is worth.

Looks Ok,many collectors like them in a natural state like yours, low mint year, probably worth around A$150 but value has dropped since ebay started here in Oz.,people finding them in older relations homes and selling.
Others on here will have more accurate valuation.

Hi Minnesota.

It's genuine and grade is likely GF maybe AVF
You'll get about USD150 or Aud200 in the current ebay market maybe a penny or two more.

Carbon spotting is progressive and will worsen.
That is not a coin to keep for the grandkids.
TPG's sometimes refuse them a grade and put environmental damage on it.
