@lulu, I see a variety of bumps and bruises pretty common on coins that have been circulating for 75 years. This includes the rim bump on the rev at 9 o'clock, the smeared letters of UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and the distorted letters in LIBERTY.

I'm having issues identifying this error. I don't know very much about coin errors. I've been all over the internet & have had zero luck. I want to know what type of error this is called & if it's worth anything?

Welcome to CCF Holly. Your coin looks like Post Strike Damage ( PSD). Looks like a "vise job", someone was intentionally trying to create an error. It's worth it's face value. In the future, try to make your own thread and post pictures of obverse and reverse. Cheers, Rookie2018

Actually not a vise job. Note just one side of the coin is affected. This is a lamination issue.

Coop, do you see a memorial building on her coin? There might be a lamination error underneath. Or maybe it's a die clash, to me it looks like deliberate damage

The second '44 (Holly's coin) sure looks like a vise job to me. If that isn't a LMC reverse impression, what is it?

Second coin looks like glue to me that had a reverse pressed into it

Coop, that's not a Lamination error. Look at the picture again. That's glue.

I think glue is probably a better explanation.
