B111367 New Member United States 5 Posts	Posted 08/07/2019 10:43 pm Hi. I am brand new here. I think I have found an interesting coin, as well. A 1944 D/S OMM? With what looks like a "V" where the "T"in Liberty would be. Someone suggested a tampering of the "T" but why would filing create two angled lines, such as those found on a "V"? Greasy Fingers Pillar of the Community United States 7042 Posts	Posted 08/07/2019 10:51 pm The T in liberty is the result of a very strong hit, pushing the copper so far to the left making it look like a V.
