Tempting to leave that "ddo-002" out of the title and see how many hits this thread would get. But anyway, finally found a DDO-002 and must admit I have been looking for one quite a while. It was in a large group of average coins in 2x2s from a collection I got today. Someone thought it worthwhile to put this coin in a slip and label it 1969-S AU-55. Hardly seems worth the cost of the slip, but that's what this whole collection is like, AU and worse coins in slips. But maybe I'll find something else in there as lots more to get through. So here it is, my very own 1969-S doubled die! The obverse marker isn't a match, as this is a later die state coin than the one used in the online catalogs, but the reverse markers are there just mostly worn away. 1969-S Lincoln Memorial cent Doubled Die DDO-002 (AKA WDDO-002, 1DO-003)       |

Still a very nice DDO! Awesome find. I was almost fooled but if anyone was going to find the big one, I'm sure it'd be you!  |

Nice find TB! You're were so close to the big one, just one number off hahaha.
Btw, what do you use to take such clear images without light reflection?

Congratz! I've been looking for it as well. I'm still look for this one, the 1969 DDO-001, and 1969-D DDR-001.

Definitely a very nice DDO.  And you were right that the thread would have exploded if you left off the 002 part. Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
