Congratulations on getting it back! I am no where near an adequate grader so I won't even attempt to grade this. Are you going to hang on to this one? If I found it, I don't know if I could let it go . Again, an incredible find GC. -CH27

i know that I would keep it after finding it & certainly after having it slabbed.
but me vs NGC? lol.. clueless, not that well studied in how to grade a coin like that.. it's hard to tell from here if it's just wear that I'm seeing or a consequence of a poor strike. I would think it in the range of au55 to ms62, but I don't know. waiting to see ..

WTG GC! MS63 Brown First thought was high AU. But looking closely, the dark toning on the high points of the obv looks more like just fingerprints and handling rather than actual circulation. I just noticed something though. What is the raised area of 2-3 ridges between the top of the ear and cheek? (Might just be Pareidolia, but it looks like possible letters or maybe beard details?)

Not seeing it in hand. The secondary date is visable by TRUST in hand, and a letter is visable in the eye
