My Grandfather was an avid coin collector and when he passed, I inherited a few...This Canadian penny being one of them...I'm curious as to how many people have seen one that may be similar or if anyone knows more about it...Thank you

It is whats called PMD meaning someone did the damage after it was released from the mint.
It would decrease the value of the coin.

technically a cent, and not a penny,

and sadly only worth 1 cent due to the PMD that others have referred to.

please post the others you have inherited, you never know what's to be found
