I thought it would be worth mentioning that this patina is extremely reflective. For instance, when I place a colored object within an inch or so above the coin, the surface of the coin shows the same color with a reflection of the object.

There are specifications for PL and DMPL. They involve the distance away from a coin that text of a specified size can be clearly read in the reflection. I can't find the reference but I'm sure someone else in here can.

PCGS requires between 2-4 inches of clear reflectivity for the proof like designation, 6-8 inches for deep mirror proof like. Hard to tell from the images on my cellphone, but only the fields should show mirrors. If the portrait is reflective as well, the coin has been manipulated.

No way PL. Question is the grade - I'll say a "slider" 58.

Sometimes failing to adequately give the whole story to its fullest extent can affect the grade call. For example, I feel that the viewers should have first seen this rim ding a bit more up close to make their call on the grade: Would a TPG like PCGS detail it because of this?

This one looks AU to me. Probably a 58, but maybe a 55.

I am unable to give a fair grade assessment based on the picture provided. Is Liberty's head just as reflective? The obverse almost has a polished look to it, but it may just be the way it is lit.

Quote: ...Liberty's head just as reflective? I can eliminate this hot spot on the hair just by moving the incident light to another spot on the obverse. I only placed it here to accentuate the detail of the hair strands... The surface seems to be pretty much uniform in terms of its reflectivity.

Quote: The surface seems to be pretty much uniform in terms of its reflectivity. That is what I suspected, which, in my opinion, indicates a polished surface.
