@silverjk, first welcome to CCF. Second, your dime has been damaged along the rib by LIBERTY on the front. This occurred after the coin left the mint. Your edge picture is a little out of focus, but perhaps you are showing that there is seemingly no copper layer (and therefore wonder if this might have been minted with the wrong metal)? If so, then almost certainly this coin was also plated after leaving the mint instead. If you measured the weight you could confirm that this coin is within mint standards for a clad dime.

Just damage - probably just a spender, but weight would help.

Looks plated to me, silver plated coins are generally less white and more grayish. They almost always have a rounded edge rather than then cornered edge a coin should have. They are also smoother than they should be. It will probably also wiegh slightly more than it should.
