Maybe it's the photos. I'll give a hint because the results so far are concerning. It is a mint state coin.

I'll say MS-64, but not a fan.

I'm not a fan either, I'm a human. I'm very particular with toning, either vibrent rainbow of colors, or russet brown or gold. The coin in hand is quite attractive IMO, it has a russet brownish gold color with hints of green, blue and magenta encircling the rims. The blast white reverse provides nice contrast.

Sorry I just don't see any of those colors your talking about , and the reverse is far from blast white ,and that's my opinion . If you loved that coin enough to send it in then you have every right to show it off . But you should know by now I'm not a sugar coater , but I am your friend !

I'll take a honest friend anyday! It's hard to photo the color of it, but I happened to get it at a price that was nice, plus the grading was free.

I'm sure this is technically accurate, but as noted, I find this coin quite modest from a visual standpoint.

I might agree. I just like the toning to it. I think I paid $15 plus $10 for the grading. I like the coin, and the grade gives me margins in case I wanted or needed to sell
