Sharp AU Details . stained and gash to right side of forehead .

Stains on obverse and reverse, more than likely, fingerprint.

Gash on forehead, could have easily occurred during minting or being stuffed into the large bag of cents. But, the damage, will always be there. MS63

I think the damage has been caused by the cardboard.
I had a very old cardboard I think it was worth more than this coin

There is pretty clear evidence of fingerprint oils on the reverse.
