1980 Nickel Looks Like Penny On Surface?

Jerky New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 08/21/2019 3:24 pm Thanks everyone! That's what I thought at first, but the edges of the discolored part are raised, and the copper color continues onto the coin edge. I could see if it were just that circle, but it goes in, then out (like a neck and shoulders), and the raised edge goes around the whole thing. I can't figure what could leave that impression!
