At Walmart this morning I found a 1937 ITALIA coin left in the coin star machine looking to have split plate error or is it just Damage? Most of the time when I go to the store I check the coin star to see if people have left change BINGO LOL. Check the Coin Star Machine people lol ya never know what ya might fine from people dumping coins. The 1937 I found today the other two nice coins about a year ago.

Great finds! The 1942 threepence looks brilliant uncirculated - maybe it was brought back from the UK by a GI during the War.

Nice find !
Definitely some lamination going on and possibly some may have split off before the strike. That is if the coin has a medal flip orientation, as there is a bit of weakness of the opposing rim in the proper spot for that. There is also some retained metal that didn't split off.
Again, nice find !
